This is very impressive and fun! I am on a PC so the problems that i experience might be different to other devices.

A few things that could be looked at:

  • The max steering angle on the steering wheel turns the wheels less then when you click left or right on the keyboard.
  • on track 1 there are gaps between the road and the curb.
  • on track 2 the curb is spikey. i am not sure if that is intended. it might be a mesh bug.
  • there are parts of the floor where it doesnt respawn you.
  • the keyboard steering is very snappy. try to find a way to smooth it out
  • When in full screen, the buttons on the menu go off the picture and the text is very small.

Thats basicly it! I dont use unity but you can ask me for help since i am farely experienced in game design. Keep up the great work!

This reminds me of old-school arcade racing games, and TrackMania in equal measure. :-) Nicely done.

A few observations for potential improvement:

  • If it's an option in WebGL, I'd suggest locking or hiding / locking the mouse cursor once it's held on the steering wheel, show it when released. I dragged it out of the window and lost steering.
  • Keyboard steering is a bit twitchy. Could probably use some smoothing or easing?
  • On Track 1, the camera stops following the track on a left hand turn on the way to Checkpoint 4.
